Our on-demand magazine printing service means you can print your own magazine on state-of-the-art machinery while also benefiting from the skills and care that we put in. From football magazines to health and fitness, we’re here to create bespoke magazines to get your business noticed. We offer two options for your magazine printing paper types:

Staple-bound - commonly referred to as saddle stitching, is a very popular printing option due to its versatility. Staple binding is ideal for booklets between 8-60 pages, booklets, catalogues, menus and lookbooks are made using staple binding. You also have the choice (as with any of our printing options) to add a gloss or matte lamination for a professional finish. Combined with the staple-bound design, it creates a durable and long-lasting magazine. Remember, if your magazine requires over 60 pages, you will be better suited to a perfect-bound magazine.

Perfect bound - for larger magazines with a high page count, perfect binding is the ideal solution. The pages are glued as opposed to stapled and are capable of holding up to 200 pages. Perfect binding leans more towards large manuals, sketchbooks, notepads and fashion magazine printing. You can choose a matt or gloss finish for your front, spine and back cover for some finesse. Top tip: it’s worth investing in a smart gloss or matt lamination to enhance the design and life of your magazine. Not only do these options improve the aesthetics of your magazine but they will increase its durability. We personally recommend combining a matte lamination a gloss spot UV varnish for an extra touch of class!

Both binding types come with their own unique advantages, your choice simply depends on the type of magazine you require.

When you print your own magazine do you want it to be perfect and each page of your branded magazine to be exactly what you imagined? For that reason, we always recommend that print-ready artwork should be uploaded with a minimum of 3mm bleed on all edges. This bleed guarantees that there will be no white edges when your printed magazine pages are trimmed to size – your artwork will run all the way to the edge of the page.

We offer a few finishes that can add that extra finesse to your magazine. Gloss and/or matt laminate is a popular choice as it makes your artwork ‘pop’ from the page. It also adds an extra layer of durability and feels more professional.

While these finishes may impact the delivery time of your magazines, it will be worth it as soon as you open your delivery.
